Leadership Development Workshop-Totally Unique

The Ranger Leadership Course is our core “Leadership development workshop”. The origin of the course was based on simple questions: which teams are the most effective at getting things done in stressful situations? You might consider a sports team or a corporate team. However, if you consider which teams operate frequently ‘in stressful situations’ the clear choice would be military special operations teams. Teams of spec-ops soldiers have to get things done in high-risk dangerous situations with their lives on the line. Especially the most elite combat teams; U.S. Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Green Berets, Delta Force, U.S. Marines etc. Few would argue that these are the world’s most elite teams. With such highly proficient team members, how do the leaders of the world’s most elite teams lead? What if these skills can be taught? The good news is they can and Leading Concepts has been teaching civilian team leaders how to succeed on the ‘business battlefield’ since 1993.

The Ultimate Leadership Training Course

The Ranger Leadership Course gives civilians the experience of leading their own ‘platoon’ on missions (this is a simulation, there is no hunting or survival training). There is the experience of simulating an Army Ranger mission and leading a group of colleagues and/or strangers in tasks that most civilians will never experience. During this immersion-based workshop participants are given the opportunity to ‘learn leadership by leading’ and to build teams by trial and error. Through success and failure each will learn by doing vs. being told what to do – a key distinction necessary for rapid adult learning. This experiential learning style sets the course apart from typical classroom based leadership training. Plus, rather than sitting in a classroom for days, weeks, or months at a time – you get to complete our course and develop your skills in a short period of time less than a week.

Get Outside Your Comfort Zone

Not only will you be outside your comfort zone in this course, you will also spend most of your time in the field.
While most leadership workshops take place in a classroom, the Ranger Leadership course is based primarily outdoors either at our facilities in Kentucky / Indiana or your location.

Serious Leaders Only

This program has been designed for business leaders who want to take their leadership skills to a high level in a short period of time. This comprehensive program has three essential elements: Assessment, Experience, Implementation.
First, each participant completes a 360-assessment. That feedback is delivered when the workshop begins and helps set the stage by identifying key ares of focus unique to each individual in attendance. Immediately following the workshop participants begin implementing their development action plans at work. An extended (6-8 months) and extensive (multimedia) follow-up support package is included; additional leadership coaching also available.

We believe this is the most unique leadership development seminar available anywhere. However, it’s not for everyone.
You will rough it a little. Days may be long and provisions will be basic but you will never forget your time at Camp Lead.
